Five new faces in Bulgaria squad

Bulgaria coach Plamen Markov has named five uncapped players in his squad to tackle Azerbaijan.

Bulgaria coach Plamen Markov has named five uncapped players in his 22-man squad to tackle Azerbaijan at the Slavia stadium on Wednesday.

Expected to feature
Forwards Velizar Dimitrov of PFC Marek and PFC Spartak Pleven's Todor Kolev, PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv defender Danail Bachkov and PFC Litex Lovech duo Nesim Neshadov and Kiril Nikolov are all expected to make their debuts in the game.

Qualification campaign
Markov has included only players from the Bulgarian Professional League in his party as he is keen to blood inexperienced players ahead of the qualification campaign for the 2004 UEFA European Championship.

Ivanov-Gonzo misses out
Georgi Ivanov-Gonzo, who missed last week's friendly international with Croatia but played for Levski at the weekend, again misses out through injury.
