Throughout the tournament, UEFA.com will be talking to some of the greatest players from UEFA EURO 2012's participating nations and asking who would make their own starting XIs if they were handed the reins to their national sides.
In the first of our series, we put former Poland forward and veteran of three FIFA World Cups, Andrzej Szarmach, on the spot. The erstwhile FKS Stal Mielec and AJ Auxerre forward, who notched 32 times in 61 internationals, gives his seal of approval to Robert Lewandowski, the current leader of Poland's attack, while backing Marcin Wasilewski to shine in defence for the co-hosts in their opener against Greece tomorrow.
