As UEFA.com continues to give fans a voice at UEFA EURO 2012, former Poland forward and assistant coach Dariusz Dziekanowski took time out to answer your tweets. The 49-year-old, who made 62 international appearances and played for RTS Widzew Łódź, Legia Warszawa and Celtic FC during an 18-year career, gave his thoughts on Poland's decisive Group A game against the Czech Republic and reminisced about his time in Glasgow.

@Pawel9412: Do you think Poland have a chance to beat Czech Republic and get to the quarter-finals?

Dariusz Dziekanowski: I believe that we have a great chance. We have a lot of strengths. We have the excellent Robert Lewandowski, we have [Jakub] Błaszczykowski and [Łukasz] Piszczek. We have players who have the ability to show during this tournament that they really are good footballers. It could be the start of great careers for players such as [Maciej] Rybus and [Kamil] Grosicki, while we are seeing that [Eugen] Polanski is proving himself to be a very talented defensive midfielder.

We have seen that the Czechs have already, surprisingly, conceded five goals. [Petr] Jiráček is playing well for them in midfield but we have more going for us overall. Therefore, I think that reaching the quarter-finals is a very achievable goal.

@Blessing1973: His four goals for Celtic against Partizan are a magnificent memory for me. What is his most memorable match?

Dziekanowski: A game like that where you score four goals is of course very memorable, particularly in a European Cup. However, it was a game of great joy coupled with sadness as we still did not progress in the tournament. Even Hitchcock could not have written such a script. There are other games that I remember, the Italy match and lots more. These aren't always games that I scored in, but I may have made some sort of important contribution with a good pass or an assist. There are many moments that I am glad to have had the opportunity to experience.

@mulletball: What is your prediction for Poland v Czech Republic? The Polish attack seems too strong for the Czechs.

Dziekanowski: As they showed in their matches against Russia and Greece, when they played well in the first 20 minutes, the Czechs have some good players in Tomáš Rosicky, Milan Baroš, Petr Jiráček, Václav Pilař and others, such as Petr Čech, for example, who is a great keeper. It is not the same team as the one with [Jan] Koller and Pavel Nedvěd, but the manager has them well set up and plays to their strengths. I hope they have the game of their lives, but we have a real opportunity. We are playing at home, we have players in good form and we are well prepared

@gerardcassidy: In your time as assistant to Leo Beenhakker what did you learn about international football that you didn't realise as a player?

Dziekanowski: Working under Beenhakker for almost two years was a brilliant time for me, as I was working for such an excellent professional. I learnt a lot and it gave me a different perspective on the game.

@CelticNewsAtTen: What is your best memory of Celtic?

Dziekanowski: I remember the very friendly way I was treated by the fans, which is a very positive thing for players. I also remember their knowledge about football and individual footballers. When we were writing our CVs, we could go out into Glasgow and ask someone how many goals I scored and at what times, and I'm sure they would have known this information. Playing for Celtic is a very special experience, you feel important. There is of course a lot of responsibility and pressure, but it is a nice pressure. Even if you weren't playing well, the fans would support you.
