Živkovic fit to face England

Croatia forward Ivica Olic is a doubt for the final Group B game against England but captain Boris Živkovic is back from injury.

'No doubts'
Baric said today that he knew the lineup he wanted to field against England at the Estádio da Luz. "I don't have any doubts for Monday's game," he said. "Živkovic, who missed the France game, will be ready for England." Ivica Olic, meanwhile, who was described as a doubt during the press conference, was subsequently cleared to play after a disciplinary hearing following his positive test for a banned substance after last Thursday's match.

Živkovic ready
Živkovic, who sat out the 2-2 draw with France because of a problem with his left knee, said: "I will be ready for the game although I still have some slight problems with the injury. But I would want to play in this game even without a leg."

Tudor moved forward
Igor Tudor, who struggled in central defence against France, will be brought into midfield, with Nenad Bjelica dropping out. Tudor will partner Nico Kovac in central midfield, while watching the left flank when Milan Rapaic breaks forward. Baric said: "We need to play more offensively, Igor Tudor will move into Nenad Bjelica's position, he and Boris Živkovic are going to take care of David Beckham, but they are also going to play an offensive role."

Pršo praised
Dado Pršo and Tomo Šokota will continue in attack. Pršo was man of the match against France and Baric praised the Rangers FC man when he said "his level of responsibility in the team is like Zinedine Zidane's with France". SV Werder Bremen striker Ivan Klasnic could be called on later in the match. "It would be excellent to score and not concede in the first 30 minutes," Baric added. "Anything is possible then."

Must win
Croatia must win the game while a draw will be enough for England. Baric said: "We were underdogs at the beginning, but I think we are not underdogs [now]. I'm proud of my players and of the atmosphere in the camp." Baric, who celebrated his 72th birthday yesterday, had a small celebration in the camp last night.

Scottish support
At the end of today's press conference, he received a gift from Scottish Sun journalist Graeme Donohoe, a piece of the Wembley turf with a Scottish flag in it, to wish the Croatians good luck against England. The squad were due to train at 7.30pm today.
