Sliskovic names maiden squad

New coach Blaz Sliskovic has named his first Bosnia-Herzegovina squad.

New coach Blaz Sliskovic has named his maiden Bosnia-Herzegovina squad for the game against F.Y.R. Macedonia in Sarajevo on 27 March.

Previous meeting
Sliskovic, who was appointed in February, was assistant coach of Bosnia-Herzegovina when the teams last met, a 1-0 victory for his side in Zenica. The game is the first in a series of friendly internationals that will allow him to assess his squad ahead of the EURO 2004™ qualifying campaign.

'Give their best'
"This is my first squad and I believe this group of players believe in the Bosnian national team and will give their best," Sliskovic said. "I will give most of the players I have called on at least half a game and I have called a few of them in just to have a first chat with them."

Bosnia-Herzegovina squad
Piplica, Stojkic, Hujdurovic, Konjic, Hibic, Papac, Bajramovic, Rahimic, Varesanovic, Akrapovic, Beslija, Miskovic, Orman, Hota, Sabic, Duro, Barbarez, Salihamidzic, Grujic, Biscevic, Katic, Topic, Bolic, Baljic, Blatnjak, Dodik.
