Article body
Greece coach Otto Rehhagel is without four first-choice internationals for Wednesday's home friendly with the Czech Republic.
Ligament surgery
Giorgios Karagounis, the Panathinaikos FC midfield player, underwent ligament surgery on Saturday, while club-mate Panagiotis Fissas was injured during Sunday's 4-1 defeat of Aigaleo. Nikolaos Machlas also picked up a knock in AFC Ajax's 4-0 win at Sparta Rotterdam.
No debutants
FC Aris Thessaloniki player Angelos Haristeas did not play at the weekend and so was not in contention to face the Czechs at the Zosimades stadium in Ioannina. Rehhagel has decided against calling any fresh faces into his party and so has just 18 players to call on.
