Hungary will not be short of attacking options at UEFA EURO 2016, coach Bernd Storck having named six forwards – including winger and captain Balázs Dzsudzsák – in his 23-man party for France.

Featuring in their first major final tournament since the 1986 FIFA World Cup, Hungary have had a boost with the inclusion of veteran midfıelder Zoltán Gera. The 37-year-old had withdrawn from the recent training camp in Austria to undergo tests after developing flu-like symptoms.

The versatile Gergő Lovrencsics has also got the nod along with 22-year-old MTK Budapest right-back Barnabás Bese.

"I'd like to thank all the players for their work," said Storck. "They would all have deserved a place in the squad because without exception they are all excellent players, but unfortunately only 23 can go to a European Championship, so I had such a difficult decision. The door will continue to be open for everyone because from autumn another big task begins when we start our World Cup qualifying campaign."
