Europe's top players will be showcasing their skills at UEFA EURO 2016 over the next month and, for the game's rising stars, there will be extra reason to impress as they compete to win the Young Player of the Tournament award presented by Socar.

This UEFA award is eligible to all players born on or after 1 January 1994 and will be chosen by the UEFA technical observers, who will attend every match at UEFA EURO 2016.

A host of top names are in contention for the prize, including France pair Anthony Martial and Kingsley Coman, England's Dele Alli, Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling, Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik, Germany's Leroy Sané and Emre Can and Hakan Çalhanoğlu of Turkey.

Led by UEFA chief technical officer Ioan Lupescu and including Sir Alex Ferguson and Alain Giresse, UEFA's team of technical observers will apply all their considerable know-how and experience to select the young player who stands out the most both individually and as part of his team, and who makes an overall contribution that has a major impact on his side's performances.

The award is the culmination of Socar's #MakeYourDebut campaign, with five new countries and dozens of young players appearing in the UEFA European Championship for the first time.
