The official UEFA EURO 2016 website has been nominated for two categories in the sixth Annual Lovie Awards:

There were over 300 million visits to EURO2016.com and the official apps during the tournament, generating 1.5 billion page impressions between the eve of the tournament on 9 June and the day after the final on 11 July – almost four times the levels reached during UEFA EURO 2012.

Another section of the site, UEFA EURO 2016 Fantasy Football, was named on the official shortlist in The Web: Games category of the Lovies.

The Lovie Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), are the most prestigious honour in Europe for excellence across websites, online advertising, internet video, mobile & apps and social.
