Deadly Dadason on target

Iceland 3-0 Andorra Rikhardur Dadason strikes twice for Iceland.

Iceland 3-0 Andorra
Rikhardur Dadason struck twice as Iceland beat Andorra in a friendly international tonight in which the visitors showed again they are likely to struggle in the EURO 2004™ qualifiers.

Iceland lose concentration
Iceland, who take on Scotland in their first Group 5 qualifier on 12 October, started the match well but lost their concentration after going up 3-0 in the first half.

Gudjohnsen opener
Eidur Gudjohnsen put the Icelanders in front in the 19th minute and Dadason notched his first goal of the night seven minutes later. He added his second two minutes before the interval. Andorra are in EURO 2004™ qualifying Group 8 and open their campaign against Belgium on 12 October.
