Duo back in Iceland fold

Iceland have recalled two players to their squad for their opening EURO 2004™ qualifier against Scotland on 12 October and the game with Lithuania four days later.

Helguson back
Bjarni Gudjonsson from Stoke City FC and Heidar Helguson of Watford FC are the two men to return to a squad that has been hurt by the unavailability of Rikhardur Dadason, who recently suffered a serious knee injury while playing for Lillestrøm SK against FK Bodø/Glimt and is out for the rest of the season.
