European champions Greece will begin their UEFA EURO 2008™ challenge in Group C following today's qualifying competition draw in the Swiss city of Montreux. The section also includes neighbours Turkey, Norway, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Moldova and Malta, with the nations finishing first and second qualifying for the final tournament in Austria and Switzerland. uefa.com collects the reaction.

Our group is winnable, but we must be in peak condition physically and mentally. That is all that matters for us. Norway will be very strong. Our experience has shown that on a given day, even an average team can achieve top results. Therefore you have to be careful with every opponent. Any team that sees a slight chance to qualify or obtain something special will go for it. And on a given day, they may give 150 per cent, be at the top of their game and cause you a headache.
Otto Rehhagel, Greece coach

We have been drawn in a relatively easy group compared to some teams, so we are positive about the draw. On the other hand, there are sides like Hungary and Bosnia-Herzegovina who are searching for a new identity, so we should never under or overestimate our opponents. Greece did brilliantly to win the championship two years ago, and their FIFA World Cup qualification failure should make them more motivated for these games. They will be the team to beat, but we want to finish top.
Fatih Terim, Turkey coach

Looking at the teams seeded in Pot 1, I believe Greece are a little bit easier to handle than some of the others. There are at least four sides in our group who should be able to take points off each other and we'll do our utmost to get enough points to qualify. It's also interesting that there's not a single team in our group who are playing in the World Cup, so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do this summer!
Åge Hareide, Norway coach

It is good we did not get Romania, Russia or the Czech Republic, as these are opponents I feared. Greece are champions, but their failure to reach the World Cup and their recent form make me think they are in decline. Turkey have also had disappointing results of late, so I have to say that compared to previous groups, we have an easier draw. I'm convinced we have a fair chance to qualify this time around. I am confident that we stand a chance.
Blaz Sliškovic, Bosnia-Herzgovina coach

The most important thing for Hungary is to unite again and work towards 2012. This draw is not the worst in that respect, because we have avoided the toughest groups where we would have virtually no chance before the first matchday. I would make Turkey favourites even though Greece are a good side.
Mészöly Kálmán, head of Hungarian delegation

It's an honour to have European champions Greece in our group. Playing against the holders is always an honour and to a certain extent, gives you extra incentive to do well. Turkey are really difficult opponents, especially in front of their own supporters, and the other difficult opponents will be Norway. But I believe that if we keep focused in our other games, we can get some results.
