Frunza gets Moldova call

FC Zimbru Chisinau striker Viorel Frunza has been called up by Moldova for the match against Hungary.

FC Zimbru Chisinau striker Viorel Frunza has earned his first call-up by Moldova before the friendly match against Hungary in Budapest in Wednesday.

Top form
The 22-year-old Frunza, who has been in top form for Zimbru in Divizia Nationala, is the only uncapped player in a squad which is missing several key figures this time around.

Clescenco out
Another missing is FC Hapoel Tel-Aviv striker Serghey Clescenco who, like several others, has an injury. "We have a problem with player injuries, but we are hoping to build on the progress this side has shown in the recent games", Pasulko said.
