Coach Raymond Domenech has called up five Under-21 internationals for France's friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina on 16 August.
Julien Faubert, 23, has earned his first senior call-up, joining FC Girondins de Bordeaux team-mate Rio Antonio Mavuba, François Clerc and Jérémy Toulalan on the trip to Sarajevo. All four impressed at this summer's UEFA European U21 Championship. Also involved from the junior set-up is Franck Ribéry, who was promoted to the seniors for the FIFA World Cup. "Things will change step by step, to renew the team," said Domenech. France start their UEFA EURO 2008™ Group B qualifying campaign in Georgia on 2 September.
