Sweden announced today that they are to play the Ivory Coast in a friendly on 15 November in Le Mans, France.

Flying start
The match will be the first meeting between two countries who both played at the FIFA World Cup finals in Germany. Sweden have also made a flying start in their attempt to qualify for UEFA EURO 2008™ and are the only team to have won all four of their qualifiers. Lars Lagerbäck's team lead Group F by five points from Denmark, who have a game in hand, and Northern Ireland.
