Marius Stankevicius is the only major figure missing from Lithuania's squad to face Latvia in the Turkish city of Antalya on 12 February.

German test
The friendly will be the Lithuanians' final match before a tough trip to Germany on 29 March in a UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier, having already lost to them 2-0 at home earlier in the campaign. "This is the main rehearsal before we face Germany," said assistant coach Gintas Buzas. "We will have another friendly against BV Borussia Dortmund's reserves, but all our foreign-based players will be gone by then."

Home-based contingent
Only five Lithuania-based players have been called up while among the absentees are Cosenza Calcio defender Stankevicius, who is injured, and FC Dinamo Moskva midfield player Deividas Cesnauskis, who is suspended. The match will be the first meeting between the two countries outside their own borders.
