Spain to host France and Italy

Spain will play friendly internationals against France and world champions Italy early next year, the Spanish Football Federation has revealed.

Spain will stage friendly internationals against France and Italy early next year, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced today.

Strong tests
Exact dates and venues are as yet unknown but the RFEF said home fixtures have been arranged against France in February and world champions Italy in March 2008. Spain are third in UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying Group F, four points behind surprise leaders Northern Ireland and three short of second-placed Sweden. They are next in action away to Latvia on 2 June before visiting Liechtenstein four days later.
