Lithuania coach Algimantas Liubinskas can count on midfielder Edgaras Cesnauskis for the home UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifiers against Georgia and Italy on 2 and 6 June respectively.
The 23-year-old Cesnauskis missed the 1-0 defeats by Ukraine and France in March through injury, having previously served a four-match suspension. Liubinskas has left out the injured Heart of Midlothian FC trio of defender Nerius Barasa, midfielder Deividas Cesnauskis and striker Edgaras Jankauskas while FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast defender Rolandas Dziaukstas has a serious leg injury. Out-of-favour FC Zenit St. Petersburg forward Robertas Poškus is not involved but will link up so that an assessment can be made of his form and fitness. Lithuania are second bottom of Group B with four points from five matches.
