High-profile mistakes
The 33-year-old Viking FK custodian has paid the price for errors in recent qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey, with coach Åge Hareide saying: "At this level, you can't make mistakes. We had an unpleasant experience with this last time." At right-back, Hareide has preferred Espen Ruud to Lillestrøm SK's Anders Rambekk, adding: "Ruud is better in attack than Rambekk and I reckon we will need creativity going forward in these matches.” Norway, who will play both 2 and 6 June fixtures in Oslo, are fourth in Group C, five points adrift of second-placed Turkey.
