Czechs enjoy Tirol training

The Czech Republic are training in the Tirol region in preparation for their test in Germany – and a possible return to Austria during the UEFA EURO 2008™ finals.

The Czech Republic are training in the Tirol region of Austria in preparation for Wednesday's Group D test against Germany in Munich – and a possible return to the country next year as UEFA EURO 2008™ contenders.

Finals near
The Czechs will seal their place in the finals with a victory at the Fußball Arena München, yet could even afford to lose against their already-qualified hosts because they lead third-placed Republic of Ireland by five points with a game in hand. Karel Brückner and his team were greeted by perfect conditions in the Seefeld Olympic region, lying 1,200m above sea level. "The surroundings and infrastructure in Seefeld are simply wonderful," said the coach. Seefeld has been identified as a potential official team base for UEFA EURO 2008™.
