Do Austria need to change?

Team blog: After all the build-up, Austria fell just short against Croatia in Vienna. So, does coach Josef Hickersberger need to make changes for the Poland match?

After five years of anticipation, disillusionment has set in for Austria after their 1-0 Group B defeat by Croatia. More than 51,000 were in attendance at Vienna's Ernst-Happel-Stadion to witness the co-hosts get off to the worst possible start when Luka Modrić converted a fourth-minute penalty, which ultimately proved to be the winner.

Second-half push
Josef Hickersberger's side took their time to digest the setback, but responded after the break with a period of sustained pressure on the Croatian goal which ultimately went unrewarded. So, where did Austria fall short? Were they too defensive at the start? Was the 3-5-2 system too conservative? Did the players handle the atmosphere created by the fervent EURO crowd? What do you think?
