Three Germany players missed training today after picking up minor knocks during yesterday's Group B defeat by Croatia in Klagenfurt with a further squad member injured during the workout.

'Feeling pain'
The tournament's joint-leading goalscorer Lukas Podolski has a cyst on his foot, Marcell Jansen has injured his shoulder and fellow full-back Philipp Lahm is nursing a bruised calf and shin, while Heiko Westermann suffered torn ligament and bone damage in his right hand during today's training session. "I am feeling some pain at the moment but I don't see a problem with playing on Monday," said Lahm, whose side need a point to reach the quarter-finals when they face Austria in their final pool game in Vienna. Coach Joachim Löw said: "I'm hoping to have all three [first team] players available but I'll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming days. It's too early for a prognosis just yet." Westermann is also likely to be fit for Monday's game and will wear a special cast to protect his injury.
