Hungary plans
The German Football Association (DFB) has arranged a friendly against Malta on 27 May in Freiburg followed by a match against Switzerland in Basel on 2 June. Germany also hope to take on Hungary in Kaiserslautern on 5 June in a match commemorating the 50th anniversary of their FIFA World Cup final meeting.
Fund-raiser
The match against Malta will take place in SC Freiburg's Dreisamstadion to raise money for the foundation of former DFB president Egidius Braun. Germany, beaten 1-0 by Italy in a friendly last night, are currently second in their qualifying section with matches against leaders Iceland and Scotland to come.
