Belgium 3-1 Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bulgaria 0-1 Norway
Cyprus 0-1 Wales
Israel 4-0 Andorra
Italy 1-0 Malta
Netherlands 0-1 Iceland

Wales boss Chris Coleman resisted the temptation to be triumphant after the 1-0 win over Cyprus put them on the verge of qualification.

We can’t hide from the facts. Looking at the group, we are a win away from France. But I promise you that the players have never mentioned it. They have never taken their eye off the goal. We are on our own path, we have our own structure and we’ve got our own plan. We have three games left to take three points. That is all that matters now. The players need to show that they want to win for Wales.

Eli Guttman, the Israel manager, is optimistic his side can still qualify for the UEFA European Championship next summer after a impressive 4-0 win over Andorra.

Israel depends on itself right now. If we win the three remaining games that we have, we will have a chance to go through automatically from the second place. But let’s be honest, a scenario where we win in Cardiff and in Brussels is unreal.
