We continue our 'Magic moments' series by winding the clock back to the opening game of UEFA EURO 2012. Co-hosts Poland were up against Greece in front of a hugely expectant capacity crowd at the National Stadium Warsaw, and it took talismanic striker Robert Lewandowski just 17 minutes to send them into raptures by opening the scoring.

"It was a wonderful feeling – it's hard to describe in words," he said. "It was not only the first goal at the European Championship, it was the first goal for Poland and the first at the new national stadium. It was a historic moment for me too, a great personal experience. The joy after scoring that goal was unimaginable. I have goosebumps when I think about it now."
