• Kamil Glik, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Sebastian Mila and Arkadiusz Milik registered as Poland beat Georgia 4-0 in Tbilisi in November. After the match, Temuri Ketsbaia confirmed his resignation as coach.

• Poland's record in four games against Georgia is W3 D0 L1.

• Their only competitive encounters prior to this campaign were in 1998 FIFA World Cup qualifying; Ketsbaia and current Georgia coach Kakhaber Tskhadadze featured in a 4-1 defeat in Poland, but both scored in the return leg as Georgia won 3-0 in Tbilisi.
