Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane have reason to remember England's last encounter with Lithuania fondly as the teams conclude their Group E campaigns.

Lithuania will bid to finish their UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying Group E campaign with a flourish when they welcome section winners England.

• Victory against Estonia on 9 October made it nine out of nine in Group E for England; they can therefore become the sixth side to go through a UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign with a 100% record.

• Lithuania's elimination was confirmed by a 1-1 draw in Slovenia in their penultimate fixture.

Previous meetings
• Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck scored, and Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane got their first goals for England, when Lithuania were beaten 4-0 at Wembley on 27 March – the teams' first encounter at senior level.

• England and Lithuania have met seven times in UEFA age-group competitions, with England recording five wins and two draws. Most recently, they beat Lithuania 5-0 at home and 1-0 away in 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying.
