Austria will bring the curtain down on an impressive UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying campaign when they take on neighbours Liechtenstein in Group G.

• Austria guaranteed first place in Group G with two matches to spare, and on 9 October extended their winning run in the section to eight games with a 3-2 success at Montenegro, also giving them 15 points from 15 away from home.

• While this is the first successful UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign for Austria, Liechtenstein – who have not scored in their last three qualifiers, all defeats – are certain to finish bottom of Group G.

Previous meetings
Austria won 5-0 when the sides met for the first time in Group G, but it might have been more – David Alaba put a penalty wide when it was 2-0.

• Austria have won all seven of their meetings with Liechtenstein, conceding only once, Mario Frick the man on target for the principality team in a 2-1 friendly loss in Vaduz on 6 October 2006.

• Liechtenstein's 1-0 win in Moldova this campaign is their only victory in their last 28 competitive away games (W1 D4 L23).
