Sweden 3-1 Iran

The forward netted an 11th-minute opener, heading in at the back post, before turning provider ten minutes later for Marcus Berg to double the lead. Iran captain Javad Nekounam reduced the deficit via a 24th-minute spot kick, only for Ola Toivonen to seal the win a minute from time with a towering header from Sebastian Larsson's cross.
