Bulgaria departed for Norway in relatively highs spirits considering the 1-0 home defeat by Croatia. The Oslo game will be crucial for both teams, who are level on three points in Group H, and midfielder Vladimir Gadzhev is hoping his side bounce back.
"The mood is good," he said. "We are now totally focused on Norway. We are thinking positively and know what we must do. We must be more aggressive, more stable and organised. Against Croatia we did not play well. That was our worst performance in recent memory."
Coach Luboslav Penev has no injury worries but is expected to make several changes to his starting line-up.
