The match against Slovakia [on Sunday] will be crucial. If we win we will still have chances to qualify. Even a draw, however, will mean that our chances are almost gone. For now, though, I don't want to contemplate failure. I want to be optimistic.
Georgi Kondratiev, Belarus coach
Sergei Krivets shared his thoughts on Belarus' upcoming matches in the European qualification.
It'll be equally tough against both Ukraine and Slovakia. They are powerful sides so it's important not to lose the physical battle against them. If we succeed in this we should win both games. We need to aim for the maximum.
Vitali Rodionov's injury is a great blow for us. He could have helped us. We played a lot with Vitali so we also understand each other well, but you have to be always prepared to replace one player or another. But it's still a pity.
