Coach Alexandru Curteian says his Moldova side are hopeful of taking something out of the game when they take on Sweden in Group G tomorrow, but is under no illusions about the task facing them. "We know it will be really hard as Sweden are a young, aggressive team with lots of talent and have Zlatan Ibrahimović, one of world's best players. But we are not scared. We have nothing to lose. After the home defeat by Liechtenstein we owe our fans. A draw will do for us for sure. We'll try to surprise them."
Meanwhile, captain Alexandru Epureanu is excited about coming up against a player he rates as the planet's finest. "In my opinion, the world's best footballer plays for Sweden – Zlatan Ibrahimović. It will be great test for us and especially for defenders. We must work hard and try to play with discipline."
