Ukraine defender Yevhen Khacheridi, who has been sidelined since March, returned to action on Sunday by playing all 90 minutes of FC Dynamo Kyiv's reserve team's 1-0 win against FC Volyn Lutsk. "My rehabilitation has been not that smooth; the recovery took half a year instead of three to four months" said Khacheridi. "But the most important thing is that nothing bothers me anymore. I'm getting back to form bit by bit."
The 27-year-old played his last Ukrainian Premier League match on 16 March, when Dynamo beat SC Tavriya Simferopol 2-1. In May, he underwent surgery on a meniscus injury and did not return to training until the beginning of September.
Ukraine goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov became a father of three in the late evening of Sunday as his wife Yuliya gave birth to their third daughter. The 30-year-old rushed to hospital just few hours after a training session at NSK Olimpiyskyi to attend the occasion.
My wife and daughter feel fine. We expected Maya to be born on 5 September, but the most important thing was that it didn't happen on 11 September; the same date our second daughter was born. Yuliya didn't want that!
