The next home two CZE @EuroQualifiers will be played in Plzeň (v Kazakhstan on 3/9) and at Letná Stadium (v Turkey on 10/10)— Ondřej Zlámal (@UEFAcomOndrejZ) March 31, 2015
Pavel Vrba, Czech Republic coach:
We will see how significant a point this was at the end of the qualification campaign. We came into the game as favourites, but we did not handle that well. We do not have three points, and from that point of view we are certainly disappointed. On the other hand, we got points we hadn't counted on getting in previous games; 13 points in five matches is nothing to be ashamed of.
Latvia were a bit of mystery for us; they made six changes from the games they played in autumn and had a different formation. The game was also influenced by the goal Latvia scored when we had an free-kick and played it horribly. We knew that it would be very difficult to play against such a tough opponent, but we allowed Latvia to score. The result is definitely not down to this being an 'unlucky' stadium; we only have ourselves to blame.
