Viktoria Plzeň midfielder Jan Kopic (pictured right) and Sparta Prague's former Under-21 international Martin Frýdek have been added to the Czech Republic squad for the qualifiers against Turkey and the Netherlands as Pavel Vrba starts to consider his options for next summer's finals. While 25-year-old Kopic has two caps, Frýdek - at 23 - can make his debut for the senior side.
"We have not made many changes, but some of the players who have not played that much will get their chance," said Pavel Vrba as he named his squad for the Czech Republic's final qualifiers against Turkey and the Netherlands. "Since we have already qualified, we are in an ideal situation - we are going to play against two high-quality opponents without any pressure on us."
Vrba will call up two more players after this week's UEFA Europa League games, adding: "I am also going to use two different goalkeepers in the two games. I want Tomáš Vaclík to play in one of the qualifiers."
