Ahead of FYROM's UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying opener against Spain in Valencia this evening, Skopje-based website Sportmedia.mk revisited the countries' first meeting 20 years ago.

"On 12 October 1994 Spain won 2-0 at the old Gradski Stadium in Skopje with two first-half goals from Julio Salinas. His second still stands as the funniest goal our country has ever conceded in their football history," remembers the portal of a goal which struck crossbar and post, saw a panicky goalmouth scramble and numerous players falling over each other in the area before Salinas eventually put the ball in the net.
