Yuri Krasnozhan, Kazakhstan coach:
Just like Turkey, we only have one point. We all know that Turkey are the favourites for the game. A point may be regarded as a success for us, but we will go out there for a win. The Turkey match will be difficult. We’ll be under pressure and so we need to be decisive.
In November 2011 Kazakhstan's Ulan Konysbayev's cross found the net against Turkey, who won the game deep in added time. As the side head back to Turkey the midfielder confessed that he was not intending to score a goal with his effort three years ago, but would be more than happy to repeat the luck. "It would be silly to state that I was planning to lob the keeper from that position. It was obvious that it was just a loose cross," Konysbayev told UEFA.com. "But I agree, it would make me happy to repeat the trick if it grants us points."
