Another fantastic strike from Baroš, who runs onto Nedved's excellent through-ball, bursts beyond the chasing Laursen and smashes his left-footed shot high into Sørensen's goal. Baroš is now the outright leading scorer and the Czech Republic have one foot in the semi-final.

The lead is doubled in wonderful style after a delightful move from the Czechs down the right side. Grygera burst forward, laid it wide for Poborský who curled a ball behind the static Danish defence for Baroš to run onto. The striker takes the ball first-time and chips it over Sørensen to become the competition's joint-top goalscorer. Baroš has now scored in all four of his matches in Portugal.

The midfield player is adjudged to have brought down Grønkjær and is cautioned.

The defender is cautioned for holding back Poborský, who has a clear run down the right wing after a nice lay-off by Rosický.

A lunge on Nedved, who has rushed clear of Poulsen near the half-way line, results in a booking for the Danish midfield player.

The forward takes advantage of a clear header from Poborský's corner after evading his marker Laursen. He leaps and powers in an effort from eight metres out which Sørensen is powerless to stop. A simple goal but one which may prove decisive.
