Kazakhstan welcome Germany for the first time

Kazakhstan have the honour of taking on Germany for the first time in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying Group A, with only one two-legged UEFA club competition match giving an indicator of what to expect.

Having already played host to Turkey and Belgium in their opening Group A home fixtures, Kazakhstan have the honour of taking on Germany for the first time in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying.

Match background
• The sides have never met at international level, but clubs from Germany and Kazakhstan were paired together in last season's UEFA Europa League play-off round, with Werder Bremen winning 6-3 at home and 2-0 away against FK Aktobe.
