Estonia hope for third time lucky against Irish

Estonia are hoping to get the better of Northern Ireland at the third attempt when the countries meet in the first of back-to-back Group C encounters in Tallinn.

Estonia will look to secure a first victory – or at least score a first goal – against Northern Ireland when they welcome Nigel Worthington's team to Tallinn for the first game of their UEFA EURO 2012 Group C double-header.

• The nations have only met previously in friendly matches, the first in Tallinn on 31 March 2004 and the second in Belfast on 1 March 2006. Both ended in 1-0 wins for Northern Ireland, with David Healy scoring in the first, and Ivan Sproule hitting his maiden international goal in the second.

• The teams will be back in action in Belfast on 7 October.
