Slovakia were restricted to a 1-0 win in their first UEFA EURO 2012 Group B meeting with Andorra on 26 March and they will expect a more emphatic victory in Bratislava.

• A seventh goal in 11 international appearances from Filip Šebo was enough for Slovakia to prevail in Andorra. The ŠK Slovan Bratislava striker got on the end of a clever pass from Róbert Vittek to put his side ahead after 21 minutes, but they were unable to convert their pressure into goals thereafter.

• Slovakia blooded new talent as defender Filip Lukšík and midfielder Tomáš Kóňa started, while FK Senica's Juraj Piroska came on for Vittek after the break.

• The victory was Slovakia's first since beating Russia 1-0 in Moscow on 7 September 2010. Vladimír Weiss's side now lead Group B, though they are level on ten points with Russia and the Republic of Ireland.

• Andorra and Slovakia had never played at senior international level prior to this year and there have been no meetings between clubs representing the two nations in UEFA competition.

• Andorra are bottom of Group B after losing all five games to date, scoring just once in the process. They are one of six sides yet to pick up a UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying point along with Kazakhstan, San Marino, Malta, Wales and Liechtenstein.

• Andorra have not won in 36 competitive fixtures since a 1-0 victory against the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on 13 October 2004. They have not avoided defeat in 29 games, their last draw coming on 3 September 2005 when they held Finland 0-0.
