Morten Olsen will look to prolong his spell as Denmark coach as his side's UEFA EURO 2016 play-off against Sweden concludes on Tuesday with the Danes trailing 2-1 from the first leg in Solna.

Previous meetings
• Emil Forsberg handed Sweden the lead on Saturday when he swept in his first goal at international level. Zlatan Ibrahimović doubled the hosts' advantage with a 50th-minute penalty, only for Nicolai Jørgensen to give Denmark hope with a late away goal – his first strike for his country.

• Sweden were the only team to beat Denmark during the Danes' glorious EURO '92 finals campaign. The neighbours also met at the finals of UEFA EURO 2004, drawing 2-2 in Porto.

• Denmark overcame Sweden 1-0 in Copenhagen in October 2009 to pip their neighbours to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. That ended Sweden's record run of five straight qualifications for major tournaments.

• The sides' last Copenhagen encounter was a May 2014 friendly, Daniel Agger scoring in a 1-0 Denmark win.

• Sweden secured a 3-0 forfeit victory in their first qualifying away game against Denmark in June 2007, in a game that was abandoned with the score at 3-3, but lost 1-0 in that 2010 World Cup qualifier in the Danish capital.

• Denmark won their only previous EURO play-off, brushing aside Israel 8-0 on aggregate to reach UEFA EURO 2000.

• Coach Olsen said: "It's pleasing that we get the opportunity to decide it all at home. During my time as national coach, we have qualified for major tournaments at home three times – one of these against Sweden [2010 World Cup]. Doing it in front of your own crowd is always special."
