"The match will be totally different compared to other matches we have had this autumn," said Estonia coach Magnus Pehrsson in San Marino.
"We are going to dominate on the pitch and create many chances to score. I don't think that my players can allow themselves to underestimate their opponents. We understand how important the three points are. A win would get us back in the race for the qualification. That is motivation enough."
FC Kaysar Kyzylorda forward Rimo Hunt and FC Levadia Tallinn defender Artur Pikk (pictured below), who missed the 2-1 friendly victory over Norway on 12 November, have since linked up with the Estonia squad.
Estonia midfielder Gert Kams will miss Saturday's qualifier against San Marino because of a hamstring injury.
Yesterday, without him, Estonia beat Norway for the first time in their history. After the 1-0 friendly win in Olso Estonia head coach Magnus Pehrsson said: "After two 1-0 defeats [against Lithuania and England], this win is very important in terms of confidence. I am very glad to see that players understand - our strength is visible only if we stay united, if we act as one fist."
"I will use more attacking players in San Marino. It's natural that we want to dominate there," continued Pehrsson. He also revealed that JK Nõmme Kalju defender Ken Kallaste will definitely miss the qualifier on 15 November after he picked up a knee injury in Oslo. Moreover, Erzgebirge forward Henri Anier and JK Nõmme Kalju midfielder Martin Vunk are doubtful for San Marino meeting.
