Costinha return aids Porto push

FC Porto were boosted on their arrival in Seville with the news that Costinha is fit to play.

FC Porto will arrive in Seville today ahead of the UEFA Cup final against Celtic FC, boosted by the news that midfield player Costinha is fit and ready to play in Wednesday's showpiece event.

Back in training
The Portuguese international has returned to training after suffering a thigh injury in a league match against FC Paços de Ferreira on 11 May. "Training was alright," he said today. "I am ready. If the game was tomorrow I could play."

Postiga missing
FC Porto coach José Mourinho therefore has a full 24-man squad at his disposal, save for the suspended Hélder Postiga who was sent off in the second leg of the side's semi-final against S.S. Lazio. Already crowned this season's Portuguese champions, Porto returned to winning ways this weekend with a 3-2 success against Varzim FC.
