Polish international Kamil Kosowski has finally agreed a move from Wisla Kraków to 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Polish international Kamil Kosowski has finally agreed a move from Wisla Kraków to 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

One-year loan
The 25-year-old left-sided midfield player has signed a one-year loan deal to play for the German Cup finalists, who will compete in the forthcoming UEFA Cup. The transfer, which follows Kosowski agreeing a contract extension with Wisla until 2008, also includes the option for Kaiserslautern to make the transfer permanent next year.

Impressive form
Kosowski, part of Poland's UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying plans, had attracted interest from elsewhere after helping Wisla win the Polish championship last season but decided on a switch to the Bundesliga. The transfer also suited Wisla, with spokesman Jaroslaw Krzoska adding: “We agreed very good financial conditions for this move."
