Nenad Gracan has replaced Milan Tomljenovic as coach of Croatian club NK Kamen Ingrad.

Nenad Gracan has replaced Milan Tomljenovic as coach of Croatian club NK Kamen Ingrad.

UEFA Cup challenge
Gracan is therefore back in work less than two weeks after leaving NK Osijek due to the club's financial problems. At Kamen Ingrad he will face the challenge of a UEFA Cup qualifying round tie against Luxembourg's FC Etzella Ettelbrück.

Tomljenovic surprise
However the decision to replace Tomljenovic, who led the club to fourth place last season, has been greeted with some surprise in Croatia. "Milan Tomljenovic showed that he is a great coach, he brought success to Kamen Ingrad and it's hard to replace a coach like him," Gracan admitted. "But I'm happy that I'm going to work in very good conditions and I think that club is ready for more succesfull results."

Previous clubs
The 41-year-old Gracan has previously been in charge of NK Rijeka, HNK Hajduk Split and Slovenia's NK Koper as well as Osijek.
