New deal for Nadal

RCD Mallorca have rewarded veteran defender Miguel Nadal with a one-year contract extension.

Cup triumph
The 37-year-old club captain guided Mallorca into the UEFA Cup by helping them win the Copa del Rey at the end of the 2002/03 season. The former Spanish international's team-mate Marcos Martín has also been given another 12 months at Son Moix stadium.

So long Soler
One player who will not be staying, however, is Miquel Soler and the 38-year-old is contemplating hanging up his boots. "I can continue playing, I feel good," he said. "But if there is not anything interesting, I will retire."
