FC Sochaux-Montbéliard's Fabien Boudarène has followed in the footsteps of his captain by signing a contract extension which will keep him at the Bonal stadium until June 2006.
Captain's lead
Earlier this month, Sochaux skipper Benoît Pedretti pledged his future to the Ligue 1 side by signing a two-year contract extension - and the 25-year-old midfield player has followed suit.
Flying high
The news comes as a timely boost to Sochaux, currently fourth in the table, ahead of their UEFA Cup second-round second leg against BV Borussia Dortmund on Thursday. The first leg in Germany finished 2-2.
