No second thoughts
"I am happy at Besiktas and did not even think for one moment about leaving," said the Turkish international. "I signed an extension because Besiktas have been paying me what I deserve. From now on, I want to work harder and be more useful for my team."

'Complete professional'
Besiktas vice-president Hüsnü Güreli said: "Ibrahim is a very important player for us. He always plays with sacrifice and totally deserves what he earns. He is a complete professional."

Turkish appearances
Ibrahim, 29, joined Besiktas from Gaziantepspor in the summer of 2000 and has made 136 appearances for the Istanbul club, scoring seven goals. The Turkish Superleague leaders face Valencia CF in the third round of the UEFA Cup in February.
