Anigo loses duo to injury

Olympique de Marseille will be without Stepan Vachousek and Brahim Hemdani for at least three weeks.

Injured calf
Hemdani injured his calf on Saturday and was withdrawn from the squad to play RC Lens the following day. The versatile 25-year-old has played in all but three of Marseille's league games this season.

Collision with goalkeeper
Marseille beat nine-man Lens 3-2 but did so without Vachousek who did not come out for the second half after a collision with Lens goalkeeper Charles Itandje just before the break. However, both players are expected to be fit for the first leg of Marseille's UEFA Cup third-round tie with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at the end of February.

Striker search
Meanwhile, a series of problems in the forward department, including Steve Marlet's injury, Mido's departure for the African Cup of Nations and Dmitri Sytchev's expected move back to Russia, could force Anigo to look for a new striker.
