UEFA Cup chance
Following his West Ham spell, Carole will play for another second-division club in Ligue 2 side Châteauroux. However, his new team will make their debut in European competition this season in the UEFA Cup. Châteauroux reached the 2003/04 French Cup final where they lost to Champions League qualifiers Paris Saint-Germain FC.
